On the individual business pages you'll find illustrations of shops and featured products plus 5-minute audio interviews in which business owners and sweets makers talk about their ingredients and techniques, and the historic, cultural, or personal significance of their products.  If you'd prefer to read the interviews, full-text transcripts are included.

• Site pages are presented in alphabetical order, so new items may not necessarily appear on the opening page.
• On the side bar, use the "search" box to find something specific, browse by type of product, site location, or cultural influences, or take a look at the stories most recently added.  
• SweetMap is a work in progress: more sites, stories, illustrations, and neighborhood maps will appear regularly.
